Playing outside is amazing. Whether you are playing on a wedding or for a select group or at a large commercial festival – you want to be able to see what you are doing.

The sun is a friend of the audience, but it could become the enemy of the DJ when it hinders the ability to read the displays of the equipment. How do you protect the equipment from the sun? We have seen a variety of solutions to create shadow, from half 12″ records that were taped to the back of the CDJs to banana boxes that covered the equipment.

It inspired us to create a simple, yet effective solution: the DJ Shield. It is a bent and slightly processed plastic plate, nothing more, nothing less. It was initially created for the CDJ-2000 NXS(2) and DJM-900 NXS(2), but is suitable for all types of equipment with similar footprint, including Pioneer DJ’s DJM-V10 and CDJ-3000 equipment.
In our opinion they are grand in simplicity. Available in dark grey and white.
